Hidden Warehouse Café Discover | Stylish Interior Design & Cozy Atmosphere Complete Guide
Today we had a family lunch after quite a while. You know how it is - after a good meal, coffee is basically mandatory, right? While wondering where to go, one place suddenly came to mind: Common B, which I was revisiting after 1 year and 3 months.
Honestly, the first thing I did before deciding to go back was search "Is this place still open?" The location is really tricky to find - it's one of those places only people in-the-know visit. I was worried we might make the trip for nothing, but thankfully got the good news that they were still operating normally! With relief, I turned the steering wheel. Having not been there for over a year, I was curious whether things had changed or stayed the same.
Warehouse-like Exterior, Now Familiar on My Second Visit

Being my second visit, I wasn't as shocked as the first time. Actually, on my first visit, I was a bit disappointed seeing the exterior that made me wonder if it was a café or warehouse. But now that I know what's behind this rough exterior, I could enter with a welcoming and comfortable mindset instead.

Stunning Interior Revealed Upon Opening the Door
But once you open the door and step inside, it's truly a complete surprise. A completely different world unfolds from the warehouse-like exterior. With bright lighting and well-maintained plants, the stylish interior feels like a secret garden in the city. The bleakness I saw from outside becomes meaningless - inside it was really cozy and beautiful.

Spaciousness Created by High Ceilings and Natural Light
The high ceilings make it feel airy and spacious, and natural light streams in beautifully, brightening the entire space. I didn't expect this level of openness from a warehouse-style building. You can really feel how much attention was paid to the interior design.
This place photographs well from every angle. If you're a couple, you could fill your Instagram feed in one visit!
Eye-catching Tree Installation Art

The tree installation in the center of the space is truly spectacular. It's displayed in a glass box with even the roots visible, so unique it feels like being in a gallery. It's a detail you'd never imagine from the warehouse exterior, but it really brings the café's atmosphere to life. It's the kind of art piece that makes you stare for a while.
Comfortable Seating Layout - This Café's Greatest Strength

Personally, Common B's biggest advantage is the seating arrangement. Most cafés cram tables together to fit in one more seat, right? But here, the spacing between tables is really generous. You can't hear conversations from neighboring tables, so you can completely focus on your own time.
Space Philosophy Prioritizing Comfort

With such generous seating, you can feel the intention that visitors should rest comfortably rather than accommodating as many customers as possible. With cute decorative items and cozy chairs, you can sit leisurely without feeling rushed, and it makes you feel sorry for initially thinking it looked like a warehouse.
You can see more interior photos in the café section at the bottom of Hi-JSB. Please check it out! (I'd love to include them all here, but it would make the post too long ㅠㅠ)
Dessert Showcase Filled with Tempting Options

Finally, dessert time! The showcase is full of cakes, and the happy dilemma of choosing begins. Especially eye-catching are the mountain-shaped cake slices, with fluffy sponge topped with smooth cream and nutty powder - just looking at them makes your mouth water.
East Meets West: Korean Rice Cake (Injeolmi) Cake

Among the desserts, the Injeolmi cake particularly caught my eye. Combining the fluffy texture of cake with the chewy taste of traditional Korean rice cake was quite refreshing. There's a subtle sweetness between the cream layers, and the nutty soybean powder that fills your mouth makes it a flavor everyone can enjoy. Though it's a cake, it has a familiar and comforting feel that matched well with Common B's relaxed atmosphere.
Various Fresh-Baked Pastries Too

Besides sweet cakes, there's a variety of fresh-baked pastries that make choosing fun. From crispy-outside-soft-inside dark chocolate croissants to golden egg tarts and sausage rolls. Each item showed careful attention to detail.
Generous Cream Einspänner Coffee

The Einspänner I ordered at Common B - the amount of cream was truly impressive. The owner doesn't skimp on cream, filling the cup generously so you can enjoy it abundantly from start to finish. While cream alone might be too sweet, when it combines with the bitter Americano underneath, that combination is really perfect. The alternating sweet and coffee bitter flavors made it a delightful cup throughout.
Relaxing with a Warm Latte

My family member ordered a warm latte, and the milk foam was finely textured, creating a neat visual presentation. Sipping our favorite drinks in the spacious area while chatting made me think - this is what real healing feels like.
Common B Revisited After 1 Year 3 Months - Still Highly Recommended
After visiting again after so long, Common B's unique atmosphere and relaxed vibe remained unchanged. The surprising interior that emerges after passing through the warehouse-like exterior seems fresh every visit. Thanks to the spacious seating arrangement instead of cramped tables, my family and I could rest comfortably without interruption.
From the generous cream Einspänner to the Injeolmi cake, it's a place that nails both taste and atmosphere. The description of a hidden gem café that only those in-the-know visit fits perfectly. Even after not going for over a year, Common B remained consistently satisfying, and I know I'll definitely return when I want to quietly chat and heal with precious people.
